Visit the ruins of the first capital founded in the 03rd century BC here and is found with largest number of ancient monuments of a great civilization. Buddhism found its first real home in Sri Lanka at Anuradhapura, and it thus contains some of Sri Lankan Buddhism’s most secret sights. The “Srimaha bodhi tree in Anuradhapura, planted from a cutting from the original “Bo” under which the Buddha received enlightenment, continue to draw thousands of Buddhist pilgrims from around the world and is the only tree with the recorded history for more than 2300 years. After Breakfast at the hotel, Visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, south east of Anuradhapura is the island’s medieval capital. Today’s ruins, however, belong almost exclusively to the reigns of two kings. The city in its day was fortified with three concentric walls, beautified with parks and gardens and sanctified by many a shrine and sacred place. The city it self as well as the surrounding plain was watered by a unique irrigational complex known as the sea of Parakrama (Parakrama Samudra) so vast was it’s scale. Breakfast at the hotel, Visit the rock of Sigiriya, a city, palace and garden complex centering a 200 meter high rock is a glowing tribute to the vision of King Kashyapa who created this ‘Palace in the Sky’ in the 5th century AD. On the summit of the Sigiriya rock (meaning the ‘Lion Rock’) that is over 1.5 hectares in extent are the remains of a large palace, the earliest surviving royal palace in Sri Lanka, with several chambers and a bathing pond. In a sheltered pocket of the giant rock are the celebrated paintings of 5th century AD, a few that is remaining from around 500 paintings that once covered the rock surface. Meticulously planned water gardens at the foot of the rock are the earliest such gardens found in Asia. The boulder gardens are a fine example of landscaping while conserving the environment. The Mirror Wall, which had been exposed to elements for over fifteen centuries still carry some of the original sheen. Dinner and overnight at Sigiriya.
After Breakfast at the hotel, leave to Kandy. Visit Dambulla Rock Temple is a magnificent gallery of Buddha images and wall and ceiling paintings not seen anywhere else in the Island. It is a complex of five cave temples with its origin going back to the Anuradhapura period (2nd century BC). However due to additions and restorations done by various rulers over the past two thousand years what now remains are mostly the works of the Kandyan period (18th century). En route visit a herbal/spice garden and a Hindu temple in Matale. Afternoon check in at Hotel Topaz or similar in Kandy, the center of the traditional arts in Sri Lanka. After breakfast leave for Pinnawela to visit the Elephant Orphanage. Pinnawela – This orphanage one and only in the world, was established to feed nurse & house young elephants found abandoned by their mothers. Feed the baby elephants by yourself. After lunch visit the city of Kandy. The most famous landmark of Kandy is its lake, in the center of the city. The Kandy market is a great bazaar full of the sounds of exciting trade. Dinner and overnight at the Kandy.
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Royal botanical gardens of Peradeniya. which is well known for it’s large number and variety of plants, ornamental, Decorative, Useful & medicinal. More than 4000 species include indigenous and introduced plants. This garden is best known for it’s collection of orchids the largest in Asia. Get in to the Observation Saloon of Nuwara Eliya Train at Kadugannawa for a spectacular tea country views on route to Nuwara Eliya and get down at Nanu Oya station. View the tea estates and waterfalls. After lunch go for a city tour in Nuwara Eliya. Spend the evening walking in the cool climate. Dinner and overnight at Nuwara Eliya.
After Breakfast at the hotel leave to Udawalawa. Proceed to Udawalawa via Ella Gap to admire the magnificent view. Evening Jeep Safari at Udawalawa National Park. Dinner and overnight at Udawalawe.

Wild buffalo & wild boar could give you a good surprise & the sight of a leopard sunning itself or drinking water at a water hole could be memorable experience .the peacock is easily the most famous of the birds at Yala. The painted stork, many varieties of heron, the spoonbill, the bee-eater, parakeets, king-fisher & wood pecker are some of the birds can be seen in the park. After Breakfast at the hotel, Leave to the beach hotel via Galle, which is best known for its fortification built in 1663 in 87 acres of land by Dutch East Indian Company. Further Galle was completely sunk for Tsunami in 2004 while the fort didn’t have any damage by Tsunami. Explore the secrets how the fort escaped from Tsunami waves.
